Gala Networking Dinner

Venue: Humewood Beach/Happy Valley
Time: 19:00 for 19:30
Dress Code: Beach Casual

Each attendee will receive a specially designed "Beach Shirt" which will act as the entrance "ticket"

Shirts are to be collected as follows:
  1. From 242 Cape Road, Greenacres [1,2,5,6th October 08h30 - 16h30]
  2. Information Desk at the Trade Show [7th October 08h30 - 13h00]

Programme of events

The Gala Networking Dinner will be jointly hosted by the South African automotive industry and the South African Government and will include a fun-filled evening of networking and:

  • 4 course South African Cuisine
  • Top entertainment
  • An incredible setting (On one of Port Elizabeth’s Blue Flag beaches)

  • Please arrive at 19:00 and a steward will usher you to your table.

    General Information

    Please take special notice of the following information :

    Entrance & Shirt collection

    • Entrance to the Gala Networking Dinner is by wearing a specially designed “themed SURFARI “ shirt. EVEYONE attending the event is required to wear one of these shirts – available at no extra cost. Shirts may be collected at 242 Cape Road, Greenacres ( 1,2,5 or 6th October 08h30 – 16h30 OR at the Organisers’ Office at the Trade Show, Moffett on Main Lifestyle Centre ( 7th October 08h30 -13h00). If you have booked a table of 8 – please ensure that your entire table gets their shirts on time. A variety of sizes have been ordered and size allocation is on a first come first serve basis. The shirt can be worn with any other item of clothing ( jeans, long pants, shorts, slops, barefoot ! )

    Parking

    • Parking is available in the area behind the City Lodge – accessed from the road which leads to EP Command / Boardwalk MVG Parking. Car guards will be on duty.

    Shuttle service

    • A shuttle service will be available as indicated on the Shuttle Service Map from selected Beachfront hotels. Please be waiting outside your hotel at 19h00. A return Shuttle Service will depart the Gala Dinner from 23h30.

    Cash Bar

    • A cash bar will be available – please make arrangements to have the necessary cash to purchase drinks. Alternatively arrangements can be made with Marius Mulder re a Company tab ( Tel 084 660 7912 / 041 365 3580 ). Conditions apply.
    • Please communicate to Melanie Darlow if there are any special dietery requirements.
    • Please also forward the actual NAMES of those attending by Wednesday 30th latest.
    • Please also note that full payment to attend the Gala Networking Dinner is required by 30 September at the very latest to avoid disappointment.

    The Gala Networking Dinner is hosted jointly by Government & industry with special guest Deborah Patta as Master of Ceremonies.
